5 a day art projectGroups of community members interested in healthy eating are taken by transport provided by the Healthy Living Centre to a local supermarket. Healthy eating advice is given as the tour progresses and people are given the opportunity to ask the Nutritionist any questions regarding foods they see on the shelves as well as questions relating to their own diet. The tour particularly focuses on food labelling; i.e. how to read food labels and what different nutrients mean in terms of the effect on the body. The tour lasts an hour and clients are asked to meet at Bangor Street Community Centre where the taxi takes them to a local supermarket and brings them back. Tours are booked on an ad hoc basis and are mainly carried out in the mornings.
