Be happy and healthyThe 'Be Happy and Healthy' Club focuses on health issues; particularly the importance of weight management and physical activity. It also provides clients with information in regards to healthy eating and ways in which they can improve their overall health and lead a healthy lifestyle. The club runs on a weekly basis to coincide with clients attending the aerobics session at Bangor Street Community Centre. Ladies have weekly 'weigh-in's' as well as an opportunity to ask the nutritionist or the nutrition support worker for advice. The club aims to encourage weight loss/management and ultimately aims to help motivate clients and improve their mental health through increased self esteem, self image, confidence and communication skills. All women from the Brookhouse area are welcome to attend and make new friends. The club runs every week on Thursday evenings at 5.00pm - 5.30pm at Bangor Street Community Centre.
