Towerwood residential

Young people from Bank Top enjoyed a weekend of activities and team building at Tower Wood Outdoor Education Centre in the Lake District.

The group of 14 young people, the Healthy Living Centre team, and the Community Fire Safety Support Officer for Bank Top went on the residential in August 04.  The group arrived on a Friday and returned on a Sunday.

Over the weekend the group took part in various activities including:

• A mountain walk
• Kayaking
• Sailing
• Raft building
• Sky Pole
• Tree Climbing
• Building a camp fire

The group worked well together and fun was had by all.  They learnt to work together as a team in order to get the best out of the activities.
